This 28 hours course trains participants to explore and experience
the dynamics of the mandala. The main focus is on the clinical use of
mandalas drawings and the MARI® Card Test developed by Joan Kellogg.
Her pioneering work, grounded in Jungian theory and cross-cultural
studies, has greatly enhance our fundamental understanding of the
mandala as a powerful tool in both therapy and assessment.
The MARI® Card Test is non/verbal, using archetypal symbols and
colors to asses a person's present psychological state. It is also uses
as a research instrument. The MARI courses include: lecture, power
point presentations, mandala creation and supervised practice.
Participants will develop interpretation skills, using both drawing and
the MARI® Card Test. While the course will be of great benefit to
mental health professionals and art therapist, the material is valuable
and relevant to other many disciplines as well.
WHY IT WORKS:
- MARI calibrates the inner connection between symbols colors and what is really going on in your life

- It reveals the center of the individual, which is, not ego, but Self
- The client provides their own intuitive solutions as a result of MARI's process
- MARI is based on the client's urge toward wholeness and individuation
